Hello Members,

I'm quite new to timetrialing (only about 15h on the bike) and after a few changes of my position, I think that I've found a comfortable one for me.
Now there's something which confuses me - my high heart rate.

Even if I'm not pedaling hard and have only 130-160 watts (and it dosen't even feel hard) my HR is 160+.
Is this normal in the beggining until my body got used to the position?

Thanks & Regards

Those numbers don't mean much to anyone but you...
You didn't tell us your "max" power or FTP, nor your max HR.
If you provide some more info (e.g., in which "zones" those values are for you) then others might have a better idea if there could be a problem (and if so, maybe even what kind of problem?).

Sorry forgot about that...
FTP is at 260w, so these watts are in at the lower end of the endurance zone and max HR is around 193, therefore close to sweetspot.
