I usually have three espressos of varying kinds throughout the day. I would say this is a much bigger hobby then cycling for me...as if the name didnt give it away! :p

Coming from a dual boiler E61 machine, it's completely different. First off it heats up and is ready to go in about five minutes! LOTS of flow/pressure profiles to choose from as well as different UI's like Damians really give so much to customize.

Before this I was debating putting a needle flow control valve on the E61 but then factors I still couldn't fiddle with. With the DE1 there is just so much to try. Biggest downside (to me) is that I love the way my Alex Duetto looks compared to this box. The owner/team of Decent are phenominal and handle any issue (I've had none to date) with open dialogue in a private forum and really that support is what sold me.

Thx for that. I have a Isomac Millineum and have been eyeing the DE1. It appears much smaller footprint and seems to be a nice upgrade for me.
