Anybody using Compression Boots for recovery?

A light bike doesn't replace good fitness.

I have both Air Relax and Normatec.

In term of feel they both feel great, I'm still keeping both but use Normatec more and the sole reason because I can do longer sessions with them. Air Relax you have to restart it every 15min. If you dont wanna spend ~1k then Air Relax is no brainer.

My routine is jump in them after I come home from a ride and do atleast 30min on level 3. I have the pulse pro because I got a good deal on it, but the I have found no need to use any of the special setup the "pro" version has.

I also have a Game Ready 2.1 that I picked up post ACL surgery and I use that on occasion as well. I'll use the GR after I run or do a triathlon or something. I dont have much knee cartilage so I find the GR useful for post running. It has compression and ice. I use the articulated knee and the leg boot with a dual hose and swap sides. Usually 30min total.

I feel a little better.. no miracles but I think they work. More then I few times I've not used them and legs felt dead the rest of the day. My wife likes to run and uses them as well, she's says the help her too.

I’ve used a friends after some big/hard days. The biggest improvement I see is in taking the hurt out of my legs and making me less “miserable” for the rest of the day.

good choice... having both I notice no difference in effectiveness between them.. Only bummer about air relax is 15min timer. I can go to sleep with Normatec :)
