A few updates to the space.
-Vinyl flooring, fresh coat of white on the walls, a little drywall, and a nice rolling lateral file cabinet to hold tools, helmets, and small parts.
Currently room for 3 bikes (max) and the lady friend's Peleton. Overall, still a basement in the Midwest, cool in the summer and not warm in the winter which is nice for training. The fan is on a smart outlet so I can warm up and then turn it on through my phone while on the bike.

@kppolich - the floating vinyl floor - it butts right up against the painted cinder block? How did you install it without needing molding around the bottom so the floor doesn't come up?

1/4" gap all the way around between the edges of the planks and wall and a little trim will eventually go on the finished wall by the door. The planks are pretty big (36"x8") and heavy so they do lay down nice.
True that you can glue it down, however this room is not glued down at all and has the blue underlayment. The laundry room is next door and it is glued down in that room to keep the slope to the drain in place.

Overall, the bike room floor is solid, no glue, just gravity and some nicer snap together flooring.

Looks great. I was planning on using vinyl planks for the basement workout room. My main concern is water ingress... in NJ we've had a couple of serious flooding situations (water in the basement) in the past few years. I don't know how vinyl will handle them, and if gluing vs. floating floor would make a difference.

Recently moved house.
Got a new single garage that I'm currently refurbing, so stole some space in the conservatory until it's done.

Just a bit brighter and more airy than my last one.Image

Upgrade time.

After months of work, I've finally finished my "pain cave".
It's too nice to call a cave, so it's a "Bike studio" instead hahaImageImageImage
