No climb as of yet. Likely end of Feb now. Permanent 'indoor trainer'.

Used Squirt wax which has made it considerably quieter! Two coatings.

The immersion is really good, but when we move next year I might go to a 4k 65in tv as there is a definition difference, and veloreality and ergvideo now have some 4k/uhd stuff that is stunning.
The French doors are in and the drywall went up yesterday in my soon to be pain cave. Getting lots of good advice from this thread. Based on some of the comments here I added an exhaust fan (just before the electrician finished and the ceiling went up)!

Glepore, I’m at that point of choosing a TV (which will Be wall mounted). Have you done any research on particular TVs? I’m most a Sufferfest and Zwift guy while I’m riding so that’s what I’ll be watching.

I'm sorry, I just saw this. I'm very loyal to Vizio for apps that aren't critical. Cheap reliable and a good image. Its not a videophile tv, but for Sufferfest it would be fine.

Ah man, not yet. Weather in Melbourne has oddly been great all summer! So I haven't been on the trainer at all the last few months.

Winter is coming though; but it is yet to arrive with a bang (and rain).

So still on the list. Will advise shortly.

wow .. love it .. info on those fans ?
Would appear the fans are MaxxAir 16-in Turbo Floor Fan from Home Depot in the US.
Spot ON! They are very quiet. Works very well. What’s up to another Houstonian. Don’t see many on weight weenies!
I guess that makes three of us from Houston.

I guess I hadn't posted my Zwift Cave. It's been a work in progress (2 years of progress). I'm currently using my old Trek Madone 5 on a Tacx Vortex Smart w/ a Stages DA9000 Gen2 PM. For the computer, I'm using a home-built PC, cobbled together from my old computer (case, power supply, SSD, video card - NVdia GeForce 560Ti), as well as a Kaby Lake Core i3 processor on an ASRock board. The TV is a Samsung 32" 720p setup.

Didn't see this thread here.
I'm currently in the process of making my new pain cave (baby on the way means I've been kicked out the spare room).

This is where I'm at so far. Will hopefully have it completed in the next 2 weeks.
It's a small lean to between my house and the garage. It's just over 1m wide and 6m long

Ha! Fark, that is great. What's the 1%? :P

@General - I am tempted to get an outside shed, my current setup - 6 months outside, was fine. Covered pretty well all that time. But really, no issues just a bit dusty - for the outside exposed legs.

There's already two fans in there.

1% is a shelf (on rhs for phone and stuff) and some posters/artwork
