KICKR training setups - whos doing what?

A light bike doesn't replace good fitness.

Just using PeriPedal for now. I was originally going to use TrainerRoad and Sufferfest videos, but the TR subscription model is a nonstarter for me. And so far I'm only doing interval sessions and don't feel the need for any visual distractions.
My favorite components are the ones I never have to think about.

Fun might be a strong word to use when talking about riding on a trainer.

Perfpro is a great piece of software to train with and is a one off $99 payment with exceptional support.

Big fan, loud music and a good plan.

Thanks for the awesome discussion guys... Some great ideas... Especially for us here in the Southern Hemisphere heading into winter...

What is it with you Aussies & your collarbones?
An Aussie friend of mine went down about a week ago & dislocated hers. Thankfully no break, but could be off the bike for 3 months. She is also looking into a trainer, and was looking at the kickr or Cyclops powerbeam (I could have that wrong. I was pushing her towards the kickr).
Spiders, Cane Toads, and collarbones. I may have to rethink a visit.

Where is she located? Wellcome to trymy setup out if she is local.

I busted it 10 years ago falling off a car at 30mph odd... Got clipped by a mate after a group of kids ran out in front of us and pop!!!

She lives in the ACT. You? She may like to do that, if it works.

My Kickr has just been shipped, I have been using Trainer Road for a few years now. I am looking forward to the Kickr/TR combo.

Have you got an ant+2 usb stick? Older ones won't work.

I will be using a Mac book air. Hoping that it is blue tooth compatible compatible with the kickr. Correct?

Ahhh. Where in NSW? She's in Canberra (which, I think, pretty much IS the ACT.)
