Hi there

I decided a while back to upgrade from sram 10 to 11 speed. I brought a new 11 speed rear and front derailleur, and also new chainrings. However, I am in doubt now about whether I need to buy 2 new 11 speed brake lever/shifters, or can I keep the 10 speed front shifter and only replace the rear brake lever/shifter?

Hope someone out here can help.
Please let me know your thoughts.

I'm doing the opposite. I have a 10 speed rear Sram Red shifter and my left went bad so I have an 11 speed left shifter, Red 22. It works juust fine with the 10 speed yaw front derailleur I have on my bike.

The ONLY thing you needed to rplace was the rear shifter. Everything else would have worked perfectly.

The part is not findable, so yes buy a whole new shifter. If hydro, the rim caliper shifters can be found cheaper.
