Won my first cross race ever. I acted my age and took on the old guys and cat 3's and soloed to victory. As the ground thawed the course becamce muddy, but not deep mud. So I can see the flexus are a poor mud choice but I held on anyway by staying on the grass as much as possible. Nothing like adreneline to feel warm and strong.
I see the Cubus is now available, but to celebrate my old man moment I purchased some Dugast Typhoon for a little more grip on muddier days. This was the first and probably the only mud day of the year so a full on mud isn't needed.
So many cool tires to try at the moment between FMB, Challenge, Tufo and conti.
