I'm looking for a cross frame for my girlfriend. Se is 163 cm heigh, her legs is something like 73cm. She has an XC Yeti ASR-Sl mtb, which fits her fine (top tube is 53cm), but it's very hard to find a cross frame in her size.

At the moment I'm building it around her old Rocky Mountain Vertex mtb frame with 650 wheels and some skinny tires. But it would be nice with a real CX frame.

I have seen the frame from Salsa and it's nice, but there must be some alternatives.

Price? Its just a wither projekt so it doesn't have to be something special. But I think she could do well in competition - she is quite strong and her tecnique is very god at the mtb, so the bike has to be god enough for racing.

www.price-racebikes.ch
the frames i ride are available in 59, 56, 53 and 50 cm seattube(center to top). normal price for a frame with paint(you can chose between 33 colours and the powdercoat holds very well)is 540 swiss francs, that's around 350 euro.in germany, quantec frames are similar, but with slightly different geometry and i don't know about prices.
