I think nearly everyone would be happy if the 50mm RS which is awaiting testing is replaced with a 50mm RS Pro instead.

I would like to see some comparable size Pro model tested. 40 mm is a good start.

Their claim 'better puncture protection AND less RR' usually doesn't hold up... so very curious to see some data.

The claim is that adding more of the puncture protection material has somehow made the tyre faster. The trade off is weight, these Pro Line tyres are supposed to be a little heavier.

Anyway, lets see what the independent tests say.

I'd be happier for the 50mm tyres to be suggested. If they're as fast as the MTB tyres then they'd be a better alternative for many people who struggle to fit the
2.1" MTB tyres.

The question is how much faster and stronger the pro version is compared to the old version. And of course, Caracal Race.

How much longer until having a BRR test ready to go on launch is a given for brands?
