I am looking for a comfortable seat post to replace the stock ENVE seat post on the MOG. Should be as dampening as possible. Any suggestions?
edit: I would love to carry over my Split Leaf Canyon seatpost, but that one might be too short. Is only available in 345mm as far as I know. So looking for at least >350mm.

Nothing will come close to the performance and simplicity of the Canyon/Ergon VCLS seat post unfortunately. It's a great design in my opinion.hansotto089 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2024 9:59 pmI am looking for a comfortable seat post to replace the stock ENVE seat post on the MOG. I also think the Canyon/Ergon VLCS post is the epitome of flex posts. It takes the sting out of any ride. For me it was too whippy at the end, having somewhat too much movement. I ended up with the Specialized Roval Terra post that still is very comfortable but does not take it to the extreme.

Canyon VCLS is brilliant, it's actually 350mm long as well if that helps.
There's other suspension seatposts out there by brands such as USE which are also longer but they generally come in at nearly twice the weight of the Canyon one.
I guess the other thing to do would be to max out tyre width, use a supple tyre and keep the pressures low, that often has more impact on comfort.

The Canyon / Ergon post is the best by far. The 27.2 one is anyway; I tried the 30.9 one and it was stiff.hansotto089 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2024 9:59 pmI am looking for a comfortable seat post to replace the stock ENVE seat post on the MOG. Should be as dampening as possible. Any suggestions?

On Schmolke website you will find two independant test that shows their seatpost seems the most flexible one (little bit better than the VCLS): https://www.schmolke-carbon.com/quality ... CXDx56Rexy

Depends on how much seatpost exposed you have. At 85 kg and 27 cm exposed I found Ergon/Canyon VCLS to be way too flexy.
