Very stiff compared to my Former Ti one. I reduced the Stack about 14 mm and raised the reach about 5 mm. So I sit lower and longer. I Like it.

The Tools inside the Frame Rattle if you Drive through Deep Forest but that was forseeable.

That also depends on the packaging I have noticed. If you package it correctly with some foam or whatever. It doesn't rattle. But yeah great bike! What do you think about the handlebar?

Thanks, I just tried to get all into the pocket.

The handlebar is fine so far. The glossy finish is tricky in terms of scratches ;)

Ah yeah the packaging needs a bit of detailing. Obviously if you put metal parts next to eachother, its gonna rattle haha.

There is quite a bit of room so you can definitely organize it quite good.

My cover is finally in NL, shipped 18.11 and just got a message from customs that I had to pay import duties. Mehh but okay. A piece of plastic/carbon that is quite expensive haha. Hopefully will arrive in the upcoming days.

I need a new handlebar. The headset got loose on the first ride. I tried to readjust it today but still have horizontal play and only loosen the expander. The reduction sleeve sits so tight that there is no chance to put everything together and adjust the headset play with the ahead cap.

Oh I thought I was the only one... same issues, got 500km on mine now but same problem.

The play is still in handlebar and the expander is at its max. Not sure what im gonna do. I got default expander and gravel handlebar from tideace

I wrote to Tideace. Maybe I will try another reduction sleeve or sand down the delivered one to get the handlebar on the fork like it should be to adjust the headset play.

Sad to hear about those issues.

Does anyone know if the handlebar that comes with the Tideace is the same that comes with the frame from TanTan?

I tried to search in Tideace's web but I found nothing

I did not find the handlebar on the TanTan website. The Tideace one is from their other gravel frame (CR08).

Where did you send it? I will try and record. I can move it by holding the toptube and moving the steerer. You can feel the play. Also I cant tighten the topcap more, it just doesnt wanna tighten more. It makes it more loose or something. Hard to explain.

Via E-Mail to Eddy. The issue is the handlebar that sits too tight on the fork. You should be able to get easy on and off when the stem bolts are loose. Tightening the topcap does not solve the problem because the force is too low (and the handlebar sits too tight) to compress everything, you just move the expander out of the fork. I never go over 2 nm for the top cap. Thats enough to compress everything if all parts are in place.

I will try to exchange the Tideace reduction sleeve with the Ritchey one and hope that will solve the problem. I dont want to wait several weeks for a replacement part.
