Look 765 Gravel Feedback

I guess we all have to make a first post, so here's mine:

I'm on the hunt for a do-it-all bike.

I want a roadish bike that can handle our sometimes crappy surfaces, the occasional light trail, maybe carry some things, but still feel fast on the good stuff. I also want it to be comfortable/endurancey, suitable for a brevet, yet retaining its spirited fun. It won't ever see hardcore-offroad-anything. Also, it needs to look cool.

I'm an unabashed Lookophile, so I've been thinking maybe a 765 Gravel would suit me as the do-it-all. Or not. I'm easily confused.

I see there are at least a few owners here, so any thoughts appreciated. Also, photos are always dandy.

Hi. I just built one up with 11 sp GRX 2X. I have not ridden other than around parking lot to dial in things so can not comment on ride quality. It really is a pretty sharp looking bike and would be great for your intended purposes. In fact I have 38's on (measure 40) and there still is room on the sides so definitely capable for more gravel adventures if you wish.
That being said I don't think I'll be riding this as I decided I need more of a "true" gravel bike so going to sell. If you need a medium I'd be happy to discuss more. Just shoot me a line and can share more pictures. Otherwise good luck with your search.

Well, thanks to one Sir ipaul, I guess I'll be able to form my own opinion. Exciting days lie ahead.

Also, it has been one of the best sales experiences I've had. I'll add feedback to the appropriate thread once I've been here long enough.

In short though, ipaul=superb.

I can't be a true WW until I lose 40 lbs of excess elsehwere, so it's not part of the goal here. My plans for this one will be a 2X gearing blend of road and trail, for touring/exploration, while still being fun on the asphalt when the day calls for it.

I'm glad I asked the initial question, as it got me here today.

Built mine back in 2021…I mostly ride it on asphalt more than gravel but I have done a few gravel rides. Love it. Will mostly likely change to knobbier tires next year if I decide to do more gravel rides.
