Finally got my MOG back from the painter and built up. Painter shaved the luggage mounts off the front fork for me as well!

hmm I have a Slate Blue in 56 coming soon so I will weigh mine and report it here. I would give them a call. Deciding between Transmittions xx-SL and Red Mullet / Explr build right now. Don't know if any of you guys went through the pros and cons but I would welcome thoughts.
Lots of bikes: currently riding Enve Melee, Krypton Pro, S Works Crux, S Works Epic Evo, SL7.

Chipping in here as well. Any experience to use the Mog as both a gravel bike and road bike?
I'll be keeping my Canyon Aeroad for the rally racey stuff, but I'm looking for a bike that I can bring on cycling trips where I'll do both gravel and road, typically places like Girona, Mallorca, French / Italian Alpes / Dolomites etc, where it will be 60% road, 40% gravel. But I also need something that can race stuff like the Traka 200.

I just rode my Mog in an event and I used 29x2.1 Thunder Burt tires. They have adequete clearance in the bike, but they wouldn't be my choice for a muddy course.
There is good and bad to using the wider tires. The good is that they can run at lower pressure- So less chance of punctures, more comfort and feels stable on open descsnts.
The bad- Thye feel cumbersome cornering and tip over to toe ovelap (on a 54cm with 172.5 carnks and size 45 feet). I do not have this issue with 700x45.
So I am going back to 700x45 or 700x47 for most of my riding.
The day after the event I did a 90% gravel, ~80k ride with all surfaces, chunky to smooth. I liked the 29x2.1 for this. No switchbacks so I never thought of overlap.

Mine is built with a force d2/xxsl mullet setup, I never considered xplr since I’ve heard rumors of the clutch not being strong compared to eagle/t-type. I’m not too particular with cadence since I’m not holding 23mph speeds offroad, you can also until red e1 xplr shows up use udh direct mount only with t-type which makes setup a lot easier! I’ve ridden the MOG with 4.5s and gp5k as tr 35mm a lot during the winter on bike paths and the MOG is definitely a much better gravel bike than a road bike, feels a bit slow getting up to speed and handling!
If you are happy with 40mm tires you might get away with the FRAY on a 2x setup but clearance will be a bit limited I believe!

Quick question for you - were those the cranks that came with the Transmission groupset? Yes, they are standard MTB DUB width, which is about the same or 1-2mm wider than a set of road DUB WIDE cranks. So tons of room to play around with chainline and tire clearance. I currently have a set of 45c TUFO Gravel Thundero tires on it and there is still tons of clearance with the 42T ring.
