I have a 2021 giant revolt advanced 2 currently running praxis alba chainset 48/32 on 11s Shim grx.

Would like a PM on it, am budget conscious though.

Some of the Chinese spider PMs are reasonably priced.
Sigeyi and Xcadey to name 2.
I have no clue which chainset to run to get the 48/31 chainrings on I'd prefer.
Will probably need a new bb too.

Any ideas to help me out?

This is what I'm running now. They used to have a model that uses Rotor 48/31 rings. Don't get that one. I tried it and it didn't shift. They finally released a new version (GRX rings have a weird bolt setup) that uses stock GRX rings. There are two version, NG and NGeco. NG has a rechargeable battery but it has a meager 80hr battery life due to the small size of the battery. I got the NGeco with 300hrs of battery life from a 2450 coin cell battery. Stock GRX rings are hard to find in the U.S. but I found replacement rings from Asian sellers.

Thanks. More than I am willing to pay at the moment unfortunately.
Ridden without power for years. Got it on the roadie now but will hold off on the Revolt a bit longer then.

Power2Max really is the best option.

You might look at a regular 5x110bcd or 4x110bcd Sigeyi with the SRAM 3-bolt DM interface since that's what Praxis uses. Then try the Croder 48/32 chainrings, but I have no idea how well they shift... Croder also makes its own PM spider and it looks like it shares a lot of electronics with the Sigeyi, Xcadey, Magene spiders.

Thanks.

My praxis alba chainset has a fixed spider.

Found this though

Should go straight in and I assume this PM should work?

Edit. Not sure that crankset has the correct bloody chainline.
Not a simple task making this work.

Keep in mind in order for a chain to interface properly with a 32t inner ring, a 5x110bcd spider needs abbreviated dimensions on the chainring mounting tabs. I'm not sure if the Sigeyi spider will work or not, you'll have to ask them.

If Sigeyi says its spider is compatible, then you'll also need to buy Praxis's 48/32 specific chainring bolts.

I've got the bolts. Unsure about the chainline though.

Read this on the praxis website for their later chainset;
CHAINLINE 2X = 44.5mm ROAD | NOT compatible with Shimano GRX front derailleurs
1X = 45.5mm ROAD

https://praxiscycles.com/product/zayante-carbon/

It should have a 47mm chainline it appears;
CHAINLINE 2X = 47mm GRAVEL
Made specificaly for use with Shimano 2X "GRX" and the SRAM 2X "WIDE" front deraileur gravel groups.

I haven't been able to find a cheaper option that'll work.
I will save my pennies and perhaps get one of them at some point. Thanks

SRAM Rival 1 WIDE crankset has a longer axle(longer than normal road DUB cranket axle) to make it's 47.5mm chainline.
SHIMANO GRX crankset has normal length axle as the SHIMANO road cranksets, but it's spider has offset towards outside to the bikeframe more than normal SHIMANO road cranksets to be compatible with 47mm chainline. I check it by myself on my GRX crankset and UT crankset.
So the Praxis ALBA-GR crankset must has either an longer axle or an offset spider to be compatible with 47mm chainline. You just need to check it with Praxis.
If the ALBA-GR crankset has longer axle, then you can use normal road power meter spider on it.
If the ALBA-GR crankset has offset spider or direct mount chainrings to be compatible with 47mm chainline, then normal road power meter spider may not works for it.That's why P2M needs to make a special gravel power meter for ALDHU crank to work with GRX chainrings.
