My buddy built up a 56 with Force AXS XPLR (42x10-44T cassette), Reserve 40/44 wheels (DT240 hubs) and it came to a hair over 18lbs with 33mm CX tires. Certainly not breaking any WW records, but it sure is a sick looking bike.

Putting the finishing touches on my R5cx currently! Need to source a front mech mount (FDM-590) because i purchased a complete and they don't include one. All out of stock in Australia as well. Is anyone in the US or Europe able to help me source one?

Any one else managed to build one yet with anything more to share? Hands on opinions are (unsurprisingly!) few and far between at the moment

Anyone have any updates on their bikes? There are some deals to be had and wondering how this would do as a gravel bike.

Just a note to say that Cervelo is heavily discounting the R5-CX now - the Force AXS build is now ~US$4800
