What does your gravel bike weigh with and without wheels? There's such a huge variance in weight with tires and wheels. Some of us running slicks and others 47+ with huge tread patterns.

I have a 2020 Giant Advace 2 that I am thinking about selling.

I am looking at ibis mx hakka 53 frameset ( they don't sell with 2x setup )
or santa cruz stigmata frameset or maybe just purchase their 2x grx bike.

My next bike I want a threaded bottom bracket. For me to justify the purchase in my head I would like to drop 1kg if possible. ha-ha

I have some lightbicycle carbon wheels from my road bike that I plan to use, so it would be really helpful if I could see some weights of the whole bike minus the wheel set and pedals.

https://www.giant-bicycles.com/us/revolt-advanced-2

size small ( feels like about a 52 or 53 ish. smaller than my topstone that was a 54 )

5.575kg everything factory ( including axels not sure you can see in the photos ) without wheels, tires, brakes, cassette. etc…

8.995kg everything factory except I changed the tires to Panaracer Gravelking 700x32mm almost look like slicks. heavy factory alloy wheels

not sure how to add photos here....

I work at a Santa Cruz dealer. The couple Stigmatas that have come through seemed heavy. That company hasn't made a light frame in a long time and their parts specs always seem to ignore weight so I'd expect their gravel frame and complete to be on the heavy side, but their stuff is durable.

The 2021 Revolt Advanced is lighter than the 2019/2020, and the 2022 is supposed to be lighter still. If you like the geometry, you could get a 2022 Revolt Advanced, with a lighter seat/bars/wheels, should fit the bill.

That's good point. I would like my next bike if possible to have a threaded bottom bracket so hopefully I don't have to deal with creeks. Any new bike I uprade to is going to cost me at least two to three k more of pocket. So to justify that I hope the new bike is 1kg lighter. ha-ha

I am guessing I could sell my bike for 2k. The other bikes I am looking at is 4k plus. I don't want to pay 2k more and only get a threaded bottom bracket and the same weight bike. Probably just get a hambini bottom bracket then.

The hakka frame is light and has a threaded BB, already comes with enve fork, and no strange parts, it would be a good basis for a weight weenie gravel build.

7.85kg as on the picture (ofc w/o pump and bottle).

It's not the wheels that are heavy here, only 999g for the set, but the tires are over 500g each... I used to roll Gravel grinders at 390g each, but they were too thin and didn't do well on gravel.

This frame is also very heavy at 1250g for a medium size. Everything else is as light as possible.

@eucalyptus you photos not showing up for me.

What kind of wheels do you have that weight less than 1kg? That's amazing. My carbon lightbicycle wheels with dtswiss 240exp hubs are closer to 1.5kg.

Hopefully it pops up now :) Looks like they removed the traditional photo attachment upload.

Timetec rims 250g each with 180 EXP hubs and CX-Ray spokes and some hard-to-find turquoise Pillar nipples. Would be less than 900g with Berd spokes but couldn´t justify the extra $600? $800? USD at the time. I have seen some fancy carbon spokes coming out of china now that I might switch to in the future.

My cfr696 in size 61 weighs 9.5kg exactly ride ready(including Bell and the mounts for garmin+lights. I also have a redshift shockstop stem and cane creek silk+ seatpost which might be considered "heavy" components. ).
6.28 kg without wheels (self built gravel wheels with farsports rims, 28fr and rear spokes, erase hubset, 44mm vredestein aventura tyres, 100ml sealant per wheel for the first setup).
