WW,
On my road bike, I have Mavic Yksions pro UST 25mm on Mavic Ksyrium Elite UST wheels. When pumped to 6bar, they hold air pretty well and if I do not ride for few weeks, the worst I have seen is pressure dropping to 3 bar. On my gravel bike, i have the Vittoria Terreno Zeros 38mm on Fulcrum rapid red 3 wheels and these lose pressure at a much faster rate. Ride or no ride, it will drop to 1.5 bar (from 6 bar) within a week. Is this normal? or am I not having enough sealant in my gravel bike tires? I am very confident i have put 45mL sealant in the gravel tires. I haven't experienced a pressure drop while on the ride but the contrasting performance of 2 tubeless setups is bothering me.

You may need to put more sealant in the big tire, it's probably used up to fill the small imperfections. 45ml doesn't seem seem enough. 2 oz is minimum but 4 oz is more "normal" amount.

My first gravel tire one had some leaks if I did not ride the bike that day it would go flat. The shop added few more oz but eventually it hold air like the other tire.

Also, 6 bars for gravel tire? If you are not riding at 6 bar don't inflate that much between rides either, it could result in ballooning of the tire to stretch it out bigger.

6 bar is about twice what you need for a 38mm tyre.

And I still wouldn’t inflate it to 6bar for testing purposes.

If you think you have a leak, dunk the inflated tire in water. I had a problem where my front tire had a leak rate higher than the rear and it was a leaky presta valve core, which I subsequently replaced.
