Sorry. Don't know much beyond that thread.
Happy to hear you won't get divorced over buying one either ;) :)

Are you sure the bikes you mentioned earlier are all available and in stock? Right now, the lack of availability is the bigger barrier eventho you have cash to spend.

I caught a peak of the new Basso and the next Palta might be worth waiting a few days to check out.
Just ride ..

Hi
This may fill your requirements.
I,m new to gravel the Alan is doing very good.
Switching from 700c 50 psi 32mm to 650b 27 psi 50mm didn't seam to change the handling.
And I can use 52/34 cranks my big requirement.

Hi, do you own the Alan bike? I live near the main store Italy but I don't know anything from the brand

I was just out today on my Ibis Hakka MX and I love it. I had to go with a slightly larger sizing to get the right position (generalized statement: know what your fit is and select the bike that meets that) but it is so comfortable and stable and capable, and smooth. T47 with a Chris King bottom bracket means no trouble. Can take 700c or 650b wheels, you won't see it everywhere, and some of my gravel racing friends (whom I hope to join) have said it's one of the best-rolling gravel bike they've been on.

Hi
Yes I have Alan Xtreme Gravel GT
Not too light sorry didn't put it on a scale.
On the road it's not bad stiff a little slow steering, kinda cross between my R5 / C5 cervelo 700 c wheels 32 mm tires
On gravel 650b wheels smooth tread 48 mm tires 27 psi it's fun.
I'm new to gravel so take it with a grain of salt but I have 300 plus road races under my belt.
