Can get my hands on either one here in Canada.. 4iii is a little cheaper, but Im not worried about the little difference.. wondering if one is more durable than the other for CX training and racing?

I found 4iii LH 105 to be terrible. Sometimes it'd read 1* power (so just left side and half what it should be). Sometimes it'd read 2* power (left side doubled so correct). Sometimes it'd read 4* power (so left side quadrupled and double actual power). Sometimes took 4 or 5 calibration attempts.

Ended up returning it for a refund. Got it from Bike24, but speaking to a couple of local dealers, it's apparently a fairly common thing. They both recommended quarq / assiomas. Have quarq now.

Oh and the 4iii seemed to drain the coin cell battery about 5* as quickly as the quarq does.

I use a Stages on a CX bike set up for gravel on all sorts of slop 'n' muck trails. No issues thus far!

4iiii r7000 105 L side here.
No probs.
Consistent, reliable and good battery life.
No probs with water ingress either, as stages have suffered.

4iii r7000 165mm left with ~5000km in the commuter. Lots of rain, salt and kicks from other bikes in the bike stand at work. Working perfectly so far.
