from 10spd down to 9spd?

Especially for light weight issues concerning cyclocross / touring bikes & parts.

Hello,

I’m thinking about chancing my crosser from a 2x 10 to a 2x 9.
Now I am using ultegra 10spd and I’m thinking about 9spd dura ace.
Can u guys tell me why I shouldn’t do it?
It will save me (student) a lot of money on chains and cassette’s…
Can I use my 10spd rear and front derailleur?

Gr kees

you have to buy new shifters.

for the price of them you can buya lot of chains

ride cheaper cassettes and chaines like
