Hi, i have a cannondale superx with 1x Sram rival 11s (11-32) speed group set

I want some extra spinning during steep climbs

The front gear is 40T and i want to fit a 11-36 cassette, what size resr derailleur do i need?

I have a Sram rival with clutch(short cage i think?) and its maxed out

What derailleur size i need? i want to stay with sram and with clutch preferable

A Wolftooth Roadlink will do the job and will be cheaper than buying a new rear mech:

A 36 will fit, you just need a longer chain.

If it's a long cage, you can ride up to a 46t cassette.

As above, you don't need it. You just need a longer chain. The medium cage Rival 1x mech you have is officially rated to take an 11-36.

Take a look at Garbaruk too. Basically swapping out the cage.
