That's awesome! Are you in the US? Did you get an estimated delivery? Did they carry the same pricing of SL7 from last year which is $6299?

I ordered a 2021 SL7 back in April and it's supposed to come in August. I'm hoping it'll be automatically carries over to the 2022 model.

Im based in the EU :welcome:
Price is tbd; it could also very well be that there is an SLR version with redEtap. So far listed is only the Sl7 an SL6; embargo until mid september but will be lifted early most likely.

Thanks for the added info! I'm assuming then that the 2022s won't be delivered until around the time of the embargo being lifted.

Can't wait to get mine!

I wonder why they didn't continue to use a 1x AXS drivetrain? I'm a little disappointed that they are now going 2X. Much prefer the XX1 Axs drivetrain. That's the only thing I don't like a out the 2022 model. Otherwise everything else is great.

Because it's one of many options. There will be 1x eTap AXS XPLR configurations and 2x GRX options too.

That geometry change is pretty significant- 1048 wheelbase and 407 reach for a 56. Short stems will be all the rage.

Looks cool though. The Force bike is listed at 8900g (~19lbs). The Satin/Smoke bike is a looker also.

Looks like they also extended the chainstays to 435mm, which allowed them to slacken the STA without compromising tire clearance.

Those reach numbers look really off tbh... i would sit longer on this in 54 than on my 56 venge...

The longer i look at the geometry the more I think its not correct. To postition myself less aggresive than on my 56cm Venge Id need to go 52....

For me it means I’d be sizing “down” to a 54cm Checkpoint and also running a 1cm shorter stem than on my 56cm Madone SLR. Doesn’t seem so bad.

Was hoping that there would be front Isospeed as is on the Domane. I wonder if there is an SLR whether it will be on that?

Pretty sure the reach numbers arent correct. Unrideable in every size for people under 175cm
