How much does your gravel bike weigh? (why are they so heavy?)

The spirit of Grav-lo-cross. No but seriously, cyclocross and gravel go here!

what are those wonderful carbon fenders? I am thinking about fenders for this winter and this would definitely fit the billl:)

It's from Velo Duo Cycles in the UK. Shipping to Canada was reasonable.

My 3T Exploro in size S is about 8.8kg. The biggest thing for me right now is that I'm using tubes currently until my non-tubeless tires wear out. Once I switch to tubeless I'll be able to drop ~300g.
I've made TONS of changes to my 3T since this post and I've still only managed to get it down to ~8.1kg. My Challenge Getaway Pro tires are ~470g each set up tubeless and the wheelset I use is about 1580g. But, I also have a 1x crankset that is a svelte ~410g.

15 lbs even. It's a Sette CX-1 with a mixture of Rival derailleurs, Red compact cranks. Uno stem and some generic but light carbon seatpost. A Berk List sadddle, Stan's Alpha 340 wheels with Michelin Mud 2 tires, Red cassette, HMS ceramic bottom bracket. Cane Creek 110 drop in headset. KMC X10SL chain. Easton EC90 38cm bars that are 183 grams, Apex shifters and yes ten speed, Xpedo titanium pedals and Avid Ultimate Canti brakes. Not the latest and greatest of everything although it works well enough for the occasional gravel rides I do. It is a cross bike but then again gravel bikes were created out of marketing to sell more bikes. I have no issues keeping up or even pushing the pace with those on"gravel bikes".

That's a sweet Rover!
What size is that and did you get a chance to weigh the frame?

I didn’t get to weigh the frame only, but if I subtract all components from the total weight, I get 1220 grams. White paint is heavy… The geometry is custom, 595 stack and 390 reach.

Are those OEM chainrings on the Ultegra crankset for the Stigmata? If not, what are they?
