How much does your gravel bike weigh? (why are they so heavy?)

The spirit of Grav-lo-cross. No but seriously, cyclocross and gravel go here!

7.6kg. New farsports wheels showed up, saved a few grams. 38c gravelking SS, 2oz orange seal in each tire. Depending on the route I'll swap out the cassette for a xg1099 32t, minimal weight penalty.

Love the English frames! Any reason on going cable brakes or did you just have the groupset spare?
I will be traveling with this bike. I like to keep it as basic as possible. No electronics, no hydraulics. Using disco brakes ceramic pro pads, excellent braking performance. That group has serves me well for years without issue. I see no advantage of using the latest and greatest to be honest.

Just using Spyre C calipers. Not a fan of how the SLC glub screw locks down on the brake cable.

Hello everyone, here's my Ritchey Swiss Cross weighing in at a not quite weight-weenie-weight of 9,35 kg as pictured (but without the bidon and saddle bag, and instead of the steel King Cages with the Silca Sicuros, without the Garmin varia + HU but with their respective mounts).

I didn't build it up to be super light, it's mostly parts I have had left over.

Frame: Ritchey Swiss Cross 55
Handlebar: Easton EC90 (forgot the model)
Bartape: Zipp
Stem: Bontrager XXX
Seatpost: Ritchey WCS Carbon
Saddle: Ritchey Superlogic Carbon
Wheels: DT Swiss CRC 1400
Tyres: WTB Byways 40mm
Groupset: SRAM Rival XPLR (shifter, rear derailleur) and Force (crank, PM, 40T chainring)
Cassette: SRAM Force 10-36 (10-44 pictured)
Bottle holder: Silca Sicuro (King Cage steel pictured)
Pedals: Shimano XT
Bell: Spurcycle

I use another wheelset with it also, a DT Swiss 1600 CR with WTB Raddler and a 10-44 cassette (second image).

This is awesome, I didn't know Nicolai did a gravel bike, it looks great. Their MTB stuff is really cool.

Yes Kroem you're right, the whole bike is lighter than my previous diverge (diverge base carbon, 8r carbon frame > not the lightest, also future shock add a bit of weight too)

Looks great and feels great! more reactive and fun to ride than a diverge (who was a nice bike too) but on another side, way less comforable than the diverge (squared bases and machined end  9

As tradition prescribes, after CX worlds my race rig "Ronnie" loses its tubs for summer season's gravel setup. 8,5 kg all in all with the porky ATAC Aliums. If and when the going's really fast, a 50/34 will take the place of the single 39;
