I know a lot of people on here are from elsewhere in the world but hopefully there is still some input on this...
I’m thinking about purchasing a titanium gravel frame sometime over the next 6 months. My specs are...
- US made
- Threaded bb available
- 45mm clearance (probably running RH Hurricane Ridge tires)
- Top tube bosses for bag
- Some what light weight
- Frameset price of $3k usd or less
The current frames I’ve found are:
- Litespeed Ultimate Gravel
- Lynskey gr300 or pro gr
I’m open to other options but they seem few and far between. Any help would be much much appreciated!

I rode a Lynskey GR300 for a few hundred miles before the WW bug got me and i went Crabon frame.. That being said, I would buy another Lynskey in a heart beat.. The build quality was amazing.. The welds were perfect and was just a pleasure to look at and ride..
As for the GR vs the Pro, it really all comes down to how racy you want the Geometry to be... otherwise you cant go wrong with either of them.. If you buy a Lynskey, tell them you missed the coupon code oppurtunity and they will give you 20% off

What about Moots Routt? The latest generation has 45mm tire clearance...no idea how much they cost, though...
Edit: ouch! Almost 6K for the frameset....:/

Dang those Sage bikes look sweet... I would love to buy one but dang that price makes it pretty far out of my range.

I like Lynskey but hate that Aluminum ring they have on top of there headtubes below the headset. It really cheapens the bike IMO.
for a titanium frame, it is important to get custom tubing that matches your weight otherwise it will ride like shit, this video sums up the best

@ OP
What drivetrain do you have in mind if I may ask.
I am looking into building my first gravel bike albeit on a tighter budget.

I am running a SRAM Force/Red AXS 2x 12 speed mix. I ran a SRAM red/Eagle AXS mullet build for a while but the jumps started hurting my knees.pritish8287 wrote:@ OP

I picked up my Lynskey back in 2018 for $450 on eBay. Brand new frame, built it up with spare parts in my basement.. $225 Chinese carbon wheelset, $90 carbon fork.. $50 carbon handlebar, total cost approx. $1000. Have about 2k miles on it.. zero issues.
Kish bikes might meet your price goals for a frameset, and his work competes with No22, Bingham Built, etc in quality.
• A hi-zoot bike, pretty sweet
• An old bike, more fun than the new one actually
• Unicycle, no brand name visible
