Interesting results.

Would you have same data for Record SR or Chorus? I've always "felt" a bit more resistance when rotating the crank in campy vs shim/sram

^ Record 11-speed (pre-2015): 1.3 kg

And I have never had any issues with chain slap when riding gravel on my CX bike for years with that spring tension.

I have used Ekar C-links again and again when taking the chain off for waxing. The seem just like any other quick link.

Why not just go full Sram Mullet and forget about this topic?

Are you jealous because I have wireless shifting? Or because I can use any chain ring I want? Maybe because I can have any RD? Or because I have full suspension?

Yes, also use and re-use the quick links with wax an no issues. Very quiet and smooth for many miles.

I'm not sure how this is any relevant to the Ekar topic, or why you feel like trolling is something you have to do...

Happy for you if you find the setup you like, it's not easy, but please stop polluting threads with it

2x. Interesting but you should open your own thread.

Agreed.
• A hi-zoot bike, pretty sweet
• An old bike, more fun than the new one actually
• Unicycle, no brand name visible

I feel like Marty Mcfly playing johnny b Goode in front of an unprepared crowd over here. I’m literally handing alternative solutions to resolve many of the problems that you guys are raising, but maybe some of you are too closed minded to positively reinforce those ideas. The very only ‘advancement in tech’ of the EKar is the 13 speed cassette, and I am using it, therefore is related to this thread.
I’m out…I heard your mediocre request.

Anyone installed this on a road frameset yet?

I'm curious if I'm gonna have a problem with the chain hitting the chainstay when I'm on the 9T.
I noticed the instruction says that "height of the chainstay near the sprocket pack" must be less than 7mm?
