I used my regular park tool to splice the chain.

The groupset I got came with the pin as opposed to the c-link. I'm guessing I need a 4.3 or campy tool to do the peening? It might just be easier to get a new chain with the c-link!

Just noticed that the Ingrid Gravel Chainrings are now compatible with the Ekar according to their website: https://ingrid.bike/product/gravel-chainrings/

I am in the same situation. I think it is possible to purchase just the c-link. Does anyone know if the c-link is compatible with the version of the c13 chain that ships with the pin?

I'm using the pin chain with a quick link. The quick links were almost as expensive as a new chain. Like $20 vs $40, but still cheaper than the campy pin setting chain tool.

A regular Park chain tool breaks it just fine.

Same situation here. Very annoyed at Campagnolo since I was expecting a c-link and received a chain with a pin. Not having any C-link available in the US at the moment makes it impossible for me to wax the chain... that's a real bummer... Where did you guys find the C-link online?

I got mine from excel sports. The chain with a c link is $46 and the c link itself is $20 and out of stock.

Not sure if this has been discussed but is the bump on the hood transition to bars unique to Ekar or all campy hydraulic groupsets?

This isn't an issue with Campy SR12 rim brake group but I had to rewrap my Ekar bars today and put a folded up piece of bar tape to smooth the transition.

Campag Hood Bump:

That is an issue with all the disc groups. Somewhat mitigated if you run bars like Deda that play by Campagnolo rec. radius guidelines. Took some getting used to and mucking about for me coming from years on Shimano.

Is there any way to use this with a turbo trainer?

Could you use a Rotor 13 speed cassette?
