I'd like to pick up a 10r frame if they ever come back in stock. But to me it's crazy that it costs more than my Tarmac SL7 10r. I was lucky to pick it up at $3000 USD before the price hike. But it also came with a seatpost and stem. I'm still in surprise they're not selling the 10r frame with a seat post. So the Tarmac SL7 is $3300 now. To get the equivalent setup with this, it'll cost more than the Tarmac, which is their flagship bike if day for the road. At least it's a standard seatpost, but they could have included one. And even as annoying as this is, I'll still probably buy one.

Here's the chainring clearance using a 44T WT on SRM Origin:

Looks like a 2by setup should be possible with a non wide Sram Red AXS crank

This is news! Do we think that's a 48T or 50T?

Would like to see some close up photo of the possible interference between chainrings and seatstay and clearance. This does look good however!

Looking at the Instagram post of the presumably larger than 46/33 sram red crankset... I sent him a message asking about crankset size and clearance. If you look at his second pic, it looks like the front derailleur may be close to the tire. So, maybe it's also an issue of front derailleur/tire clearance. So, maybe we can run slightly larger chainrings provided they clear the chainstay, but may run into issues using larger volume tires. Not a big deal for me as I won't be running anything larger than a 40 to 42c. I will mostly be using some road tubeless tires that measure 30c. I'll post a response from the guy on Instagram if I receive one.

Now I'm wondering if the ultegra 46/36 will work... I'm not worried about the 46 so much as the 36 rubbing. I'd like to try the 50/34 but assume the 50 is too big to work.

Also wonder if the shimano 34 tooth will work with the 46 tooth. I know it should work but wonder about the quality of the shifts.

So many options to try and and so few people able to try them. I guess I need to be patient.

I already said this and was ignored so for the last time you can space out the shimano BB cups because the spindles are long enough to also work on ITA shells which are wider than BSA, therefore you have at minimum 2mm but realistically 3 to safely space out the cup against the bb shell in order to space out the chainring.

No need to be rude. I never saw your previous post. I do find it odd that no one has mentioned this besides you. Maybe it's not an optimal solution. Maybe more room is needed than 2mm. Like I said, we are going to need a lot of experimenting to see what works. But you don't have to join in fun if you don't want to. No one is forcing you to read the thread.

You can space it more than 2mm I just don't know how much for 100% assured safety, the only non optimal thing is finding or making the proper spacer. It works fine and I've done it before for exactly the same reason as the crux, and it was perfect for years. I also find it odd that nobody has mentioned it but it's possible I came up with the idea and nobody else has. I had to make my own spacer.

Here's mine with a 44T on it at 7.3kg. Depending on the direction I go, I can get this down to 6.5kg if I tried.
