Anyone found a black 56cm frame? I wanna build one up but can't find a frameset anywhere.

I have only seen black Crux Comp full bikes in the UK now (certini and the group of firms who have the same stock). S works frames only the silver striped style. For me the extra £ Sworks frameset seemed a bit silly, on a bike where the mud on the tires negates the delta.

Been quietly enjoying the thread - I am eyeing the Crux Expert in Satin Forest Green/light Silver... looks like my shop has an allocation - but probably in the 45 to 90 day range. Anyone seen these in the wild? So hard to tell off website photos. The owner has the Pro in dusty blue/ice papaya - which is nice but I prefer the green at the moment. Future upgrades could include a mullet setup - Eagle AXS,10-52, Red Crank, but might ride it for a while as is.
Edit: I like the Pro but just don't like the colors as much.

very good i am thinking to install durace 9200 50-34 and this means that with 2,5 mm spacer will fit!
waiting for pictures!

Here is a link to the photo of my crux with r8070 2x setup, can't figure out how to add an image.

That looks fantastic. How's the actual chainring bolt clearance against the frame? I found that to be a limiting factor with some cranksets. Do you think you could get away with less than 2.5mm of spacers? Did you add any pedal washers to the Non-drive side pedal spindle to make up the 2.5mm?kgcx wrote: ↑Sat Jan 22, 2022 6:47 pmHere is a link to the photo of my crux with r8070 2x setup, can't figure out how to add an image.

Sorry for all the questions. Not a lot of info out there on this setup with shimano.
The chainring bolts have about the same clearence as the 34 tooth ring on the driveside chainstay. You could probably get away with 1.5mm to 2mm spacer, but this is what my bike shop reccomended. They have setup multiple Crux's with Di2 with either a 34-52 chainring or the typical 34-50, the 36 ring will not fit even with the spacer. I didn't add any pedal washers, but you certainly could. I honestly cannot say I have noticed the offset when riding.
i do not know if moving the chainline 2.5 mm out we can have some issue on reliability sidekgcx wrote: ↑Sat Jan 22, 2022 10:04 pmThe chainring bolts have about the same clearence as the 34 tooth ring on the driveside chainstay. how does it work?
Ultegra R8100 with the GRX 48/31 crank.
There is a difference in the chainline of 1.5mm.
How could I make this setup work? Could the front derailleur work with this crank?

Sizing Q:
Looking at the geo comparing against my large Open UPPER, the 56 is bigger and 54 slightly smaller.
Thinking about going for the 54cm frame. Just seeing who's on one and if around same size (183cm, 750mm saddle height).

I’m wondering the same thing. There are several potential issues.jayjay wrote:Ultegra R8100 with the GRX 48/31 crank.

- The 1.5mm chainline difference could be corrected by using chainring spacers to move the chainrings inboard. Or perhaps the 8100 FD has enough adjustment range such that it might work without the spacers.
- Since the 48T ring is smaller can you drop the FD low enough to work with the 48T? The FD is designed for 50T or 52T.
- FD has a spec’ed max tooth difference of 16T not 17T.
- 12-speed chainrings are closer together than 11-speed chainrings. Will the FD handle the wider spacing of GRX chainrings?
