Hi,

I'm new ...first post!

Trying to find a solution to fitting mudguards onto a Trek Boone 5 (2018) I've changed it to a road bike set up for winter riding and there are no mudguard eyelets .... and this version did not come with the hidden mounts for the adaptors , like other versions - as far as I can tell - unless they are so hidden I can't see them!

I want to attach a decent pair of mudguards and I'm not so keen on the clip on type that attach to the frame...

I've heard some mention of a disc brake mounted guards but not sure if these are any good...

Probably have to resort to a clip on pair but wondering if anyone might have some ideas before I do!

Thanks :)

Is it a rim brake model or disc?
