North Sea Cycling Route

I am thinking of doing a part of the north sea cycling route this summer. It will just be me and my bike, for 2-3 weeks total.
I am in Belgium at coast, so it's a good starting point i guess.
Has anyone done this route, and if so, what were your experiences ?
The whole route covers 6000km or so.

Wow, that looks amazing! Let me know if you want some company for the Scotland part of your route, I'm in Edinburgh.

I rode from Nottingham to Edinburgh over 4 days a couple of years ago. Not sure that I can offer much help but I'd be happy to share my routes and accommodation info with you.

In the north part of Holland you planned the dike called “Aflsluitdijk”. It’s closed for cyclist as from 1 April until 1 April 2022 (22!). They run busses Every hour or so as alternative.

Its part of a Eurovelo route so assume there must be some advice on alternative routing

See if you can find the two TV series (about ten episodes in all) made on cycling the North Sea Cycle route. The first series was on the UK section, the second series on the Belgium/Netherlands/Denmark/Sweden/Norway section. Jeannie Longo, Rudi Altig, and Joey Kelly. They were broadcast on TV here some years back - don't know if they are otherwise available:

Guys guys, i said i will do a PART (selection) of the route, not the whole route in 2-3 weeks! lol
probably belgium/netherlands/denmark first.

Some connection schedule issues to plan for at the top end of the loop:

Scottish mainland to Orkney you have 2 ferry routes with multiple trips per day.
Orkney to Shetland you have a ferry 4 days a week, typically 2 direct flight per day.
Shetland to Bergen, no ferry link now, only flights 2 days per week, mostly well booked in advance.
