Specialized Pathfinder tire

Hi there,

Looking for opinions on the Specialized Pathfinder tire. Looks like a nice combination of slick center and knobbly outer edges.

Been knocking out the miles on them. Fast on the pavement with good drip in gravel. Highly recommendable.

Thanks! Are you running 38s or 42s? Can you advise how they come out width wise?

Running 38s. Using Roval slx24. At 30psi they are 39.2mm 40psi same. I’m going thru and measuring all tire/wheel combos that come thru the shop currently. I’ll have wheel and tire measurements at 30/40 psi.

I just got some Pathfinder 42s and put them on Mercury wheels, hookless 25mm ID. Came out 42mm at 3.5 bars. They look nice - can't wait to test them!

They look like agood tire, but are a bit heavy. Should have good flat protection though. I'm going to be getting some 38's soon.

I so wished they would have kept making the "33mm" Trigger, that was a super fast gravel tire that was quite wide on an internal width rim >21mm.

They are not light but in the range of other knobby tires ?! @480g for 38s. I find the Panaracer's are at the lighter end @ 420g and roll good enough. I wonder how the pathfinder rolls on road, gravel and trail compared to the GravelGrinder.
