all the TUFO tires and sizes are available in the link below from BikeTiresDirect and showing ready to ship. BTD is a reputable company in Portland and will get these tires to you within 3 days usually. Bought many times from there and never had any issues, and customer service has always been super helpful the times i had questions

Thanks. I believe I had seen them available there, but they were almost half the price on BikeInn. I ended up finding a set of Pathfinder Pros for $30 each, so I'll give those a shot.
3 days vs 3 months for delivery though. BTD does have a site wide 25% off sale for BFCM right now with a lot of tires up to 60% off

3 months and counting**
I think it's safe to say I'll never receive them.
If I'm not crazy about the Pathfinders or they don't fit my frame like I'm hoping, I'll definitely go with the Thunderos as I hear great things.

Hutchinson caracal vs. caracal race...
Quite significant difference in rolling resistance between the two tyres.
The Caracal's results are consistent with Hutchinson other gravel tyres which shows it's using their older compound technology.
Just shows what a difference tyre compound can make.

I agree with the Thundero. I feel they have the best grip both in dry and wet conditions while still being fast rolling out of the three and I prefer how they feel when you lean on them in the corners.

Jan sure likes to throw out the straw men in his "articles"
MANY "semi-slick" tires with side knob tires do NOT exhibit the "awkward transitions" in leaning that he claims...I remember being quite impressed by how well Challenge Gravel Grinders corner on pavement. I was expecting some "slide out", similar to what one feels on pavement with knobby MTB tires, but there was none.
But...Jan gotta Jan

In a sport full of obnoxious knowitalls, he's gotta be near the top.

Yeah just saw these, interested for sure as I run ThunderBurts now. No real info on what the the update is to make them ‘Pro’? Please let us know how you get on, I’m considering the 50
