I'm thinking 11-36t mainly because I dont want to use a wolftooth or anything like that. Already have the mid cage Rx805 ultegra RD.. Looking for a lighter solution to my current 11-34t that weighs in at ~330g. Not opposed to changing from shimano freehub to XD driver if I have too. My neck of the woods is pounding me with 20% gravel steps to get to the flatter stuff.. it's wearing on me.

SRAM 1170 ? still 370g
Sunrace ? any good
others ?

too bad the spacing is not what I had in mind.. 9 /10 ... 31/36 if it was 11-36T I might go for it.. but thanks since I never heard of them.

Upcoming SRAM 12x system may be the answer.

Nothing out there unfortunately.

I run 10-42 mostly, and the 3T 9-32 which is similar to a 11-36 but you have to run a small chainring.

I believe that the largest cassette cog size on the upcoming SRAM 12s road is 33t.

Are you able to use 48/32 or 46/30 crankset?

Do they have 11-36? Do you have a link?

Edit: Found them on the Recon site, Aluminum or Ti only, no steel.
Ti 11-36 listed as 215g, 250$.

Aluminum 11-36 very light.. 150g.. do these self destruct ? 210g for Ti but more $$$ figure they are more robust. I might go this route.

yes.. already on 48/32 :) I think if I hit the trails without doing grouprides beforehand I'd probably be ok... but I'm pushing alot of extra watts on 650bx42.. so slightly gassed when I hit these gravel roads.

I would expect so, yes.

What tires are you on? On Pari-Motos you should have zero penalty over fast-ish road tires except maybe for aero.
