Guys, any recommendation on cassette option for my Lynskey pro cross build?

I'm currently thinking about using Deore XT 11-46, Sun Race CSMX80 11-50, or ZTTO cnc 11-50 Image.

does somebody here has a long term use of those cassette i've mention above? Since i will be using it for climbing mix terrain up to 25% i need bigger cogs and a good cassette.

Front Chainring will be using 38T Sworks MTN Crankset. RD use Ultegra R8000 long cage + Nautilus hanger.

thank youImageImage

I'm running a 50/34 11-46 on my Lynskey ProCross with the Wolftooth. I was able to run the 11-45 XTR cassette without the wolftooth with the di2 rx derailleur.

Yeah you'll be all good up to 50. If you don't mind the steps between gears on the 1x, I say go as big as you want. I have never finished a ride thinking I had too much gearing, even if I didn't use it.

Finally intalled 11-50 sunrace cassette. I'm a bit umpleased by the Ultegra RD look when paired with this mega range cassette especially when the RD on 11T cog. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

RD position looks off to me. Too far back. Not tried a 50 but my RD guide cog when I'm the 42 is forward of the centre of the cassette.

yes looks too far back it is. I've tried different types RD hanger but only this Nautilus RD hanger works well but still need the hanger lowered the RD not put the RD position back. I'm thinking about machining the hanger with stopper design that could lowered the RD and move it little forward. Image

What does it look like in the 11t with the new hanger? I don't see a pic of that. I see why you were concerned about the old one. It only gave you about 3 or 4 teeth of engagement.

Shifting on small cogs will be slow. Shifting 11-13-15 may even skip 1 cog and it will be very annoying. RD-6800/5800-GS should be better for 1x wide range, because it have offset pulley and cage axles (average pulley to cog distance will be smaller). RD-8000 is more optimized for 2x
