I bought some 63mm velo orange fenders for my 47mm 650b wheels + tires and I love the combination. They were also very easy to mount. Unfortunately they are heavier than plastic fenders but I feel the weight is worth the tradeoff for the best protection against wheel splash. It wasn't until I put this combination together that I could go out riding in torrential rain (I live in Vancouver, CA) and get home with dry feet.

Not sure if these will be large enough, but this is what I have on my bike w. 650b x 42. Certainly light as hell

does your frame have eyelets for mounting fenders?
if not, Planet Bike make a full fender with flaps that strap on to the seat stays and fork blades
they're kind of finicky though. and if your seat stays are dropped in any way other than connecting to a horizontal TT, it will be hard for the bracers to reach. i had to make a shim

40mm Curana Clite with alloy stay, hardware and front DIY extension, 270g.
I’ve got the Blumels and they’re pretty damn good, I’m sure there are additional flaps you can buy...

Was planning to get the Veloduo for my ibis. Planning to run 35mm gravelking (not sk) on 29mm wide lightbicycle rims - does anyone have a view on whether I might get away with a 40mm 700c guard (it says 32mm max tyre) or whether a 45mm for a 650b wheel would work better (36mm 650b tyre max)?
Cheers

Velo Orange Hammered Fenders, 45mm. Available in black and silver.
Looking at this photo, I wouldn't go to a group ride with this setup as the guy riding behind you gets soaked. The rear fender is so short, it should end about 20 cm above the ground to be any good the riders behind you
