Hi all
I currently ride at set of Schwalbe Rapid Rob 700x35mm. on my alu wheelset which have an outer width of 23mm. and inner width of 18mm.
I would like to switch to either 40 or 45mm. - however I don't know whether it is possible to fit this size on the size of rims that I have or not.
Does anyone have experience with this?
700x45 tyres on 18/23 alu rims?

I have 40mm tires on a 20mm internal rim. It works fine. I doubt that a couple of mm less of internal width would make a huge difference overall.

43mm gravelkings on an 18mm inside diameter rim works fine for me. I've used them down to about 35psi

Great - Thanks for your replies.
I am debating with my self whether I should go for the:
- Panaracer Gravelking SK Tubeless Folding Tire - 622 - black / brown or
- Schwalbe G-One Allround Evolution - LiteSkin - Folding Tire - 40-622 - Classic-Skin
Any thoughts?
Will be used in the dry on a mix of tarmac and forrest trails.
Thanks.

The Gravelking will probably be tougher, the G-One faster.
If you mostly ride in the dry you should consider slicks.
