I am looking for pads replacement to my Sram Apex HRD Brakes. Oe pads exceeded their lifetime.

What pads do You use and what are Yours recommendations?

This is a CX bike so I need good stopping power and modulation on all conditions (mud, road, wet) Would be nice if they can be silent too.

I checked Swiss Stops - and they have pads with different compounds - Green (Organic) , Yellow (DiscRS) , Silver (Disc E) . Anyone tested and can recommend any?

I use Sram's regular Organic for my Force1 and Etap brakes, tried the Sintered but doesn't feel good at all. Will stay with organic.

I've got the SRAM OE pads in mine, Uberbike Race Matrix are worth a look as they're very good MTB pads and offer really good stopping power in all conditions IMHO

Okey then Sram Organic Pads - are they silent?

Which version - on alum backplate or steel? Any difference than weight... ? https://www.wiggle.co.uk/sram-road-hydr ... rake-pads/

I used swissstops green and yellow pads, both felt the same but seemed to last longer then sram oe pads.

Nice to hear the organic ones are silent(er) than sintered as advertised! :)
