Anyone else spot the new S-Works 7 Mtn Bike Shoes? The road version is beyond comfort for my shape foot and I can't wait to get some of these....

I picked up my pair earlier this week. Man oh man these babies are gonna change the game for performance and comfort. Yes te price tag is high but hey as much as I ride the price is well worth it. I probably am the most stoked about the reinforced toe box are, past gen S-Works shoes left the toe area open for hard abrasions and tearing where the upper meets the outsole. If you are looking for a new pair of Mtn bike shoes check these out.

Has anyone seen the red ones yet? All of the product-announcing articles had nothing but the black version.

Are the sub6 mtb shoes supposed to come with a wrench for the toe spikes?

You know you would think so, Shimano use to do that. I believe a 19mm wrench will work. Definitly snug them down before riding as I have had a few go missing during rides in the past.

Nope, they believe you got the right tools. And they are called S-Works 6, (the sub6 is the roadshoes with laces)

I picked up my black ones this week. Fit is broader at the toe than my old ones, but that's good for my old, spreading feet. They seem comfortable and the one complaint I had with the old ones about the tongue moving around inside after I'd tightened the Boa and ridden for a while seems to have been improved, if not completely corrected. Old ones are still good and will be off to my place in the mountains. New Boas seem to be easier to use than the old ones.
