29 x 2.1 into a gravel bike - is it possible

Especially for light weight issues concerning cyclocross / touring bikes & parts.

I am looking for suggestions for a new gravel bike.
Main concern is tyre clearance at this stage.
Is there a particular frame thats known for roominess?
Thank you

They are out there.

Are you looking at a complete bike, or frameset only?
Frame material?

Either, though would probably prefer frame only

Why not use 650b for wide tires?

One of a few I know is the Light Blue Darwin ('MT' option) steel frame/fork.

What is your budget? and would you be willing to import a frameset if not available in your location?

I have this frame.

I'm running 27.5 x 2.1 Thunderburts. 29 x 2.1 will fit, but be snug at the chainstays, official clearance is 29 x 2.0.

Van Dessel WTF and WTF 853 both fit 29 x 2.25. The Kona Sutra LTD fits ~2.2 29er tires. You could also look at something like the Salsa Cutthroat with is more of a drop bar mtb.
