I'm looking to replace the rims on a wheelset - the current rims are damaged beyond repair, but the hubs are in good shape, and can be reused. I'm just looking for something disc-specific, wide, and has to be 24h. I'm not looking to bust the bank, so aluminum is the preferred material.

I've got another set of wheels build with H Plus Sons Hydra rims, but was looking to see if there's anything better than that out there now. Any suggestions?

For disc I'd go carbon. The Hydras are very expensive, so the difference to cheap carbon rim's isn't that much.

The Hydras are $153, shipped, whereas LB wants $405, shipped. The weight difference is about 30g/wheel (Hydras being heavier).
