Maybe recently released Shimano RX570 wheels will do the trick? ID 21,6mm and not too heavy.

Tom amazing thanks for the wheelset weight! I was so baffled as to how the Stone was so heavy this explains a lot. Im on the verge of buying dtswiss rims.

I also want new cranks to save weight and fit a shimano power meter so the new gravel cranks look amazing but same front mech question as you.

710 gram 1.56 lbs !!! Saving is insane with the cheaper dt swiss. Im gonna fit some 28mm gp5000 road tyres for road days too.

Thanks!! Will have a look. Looking at cranks as well - please have a look at this: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=156669#p1486471 - it's not that easy to find a 30/46 replacement. Easton would be my favourite - but it is expensive. Maybe I will buy the FSA SL-K Modular...

Anyone got their Topstone sub 9 yet?

I stuck some Zondas on my Sora model, Ultegra disc rotors, fizik R3 saddle and some cheap but narrow PRO bars. Changed Chainset to 105 50/34.

Think it weighed around 10.5kg with the head unit and cages on.

A new crank could save you almost 300g. I saved around 130g by exchanging the Fabric saddle with the carbon version. Didn‘t think about the rotors...good input.

Going from 105 r7000 to the new ultegra chainset is like 50g or something unfortunately.

Would love to know the total weight of the Sora groupset on the bike. Couldn't find figures anywhere online.

Nice one! Just ordered the Fabric carbon rail yesterday. Looking for a new crank as well. But need 30/46.
What's the braking feel / weight difference from 160 to your new 140 rotors?

140 rotors are fine for me. I never even rode the bike with 160's. My superx had come with 160's and I was like wtf omg too much braking so I swapped that for 140 too and have never had an issue.

wheels, crank, saddle and post are the real anchors on this bike.

I still need to cut some hydro lines and trim the steerer. I could also save some weight with an 11-30 cassette, and a dura ace 9100 derailleur I have If I swapped to a 50/34 chainring but I don't want to spend money on rings.

And there was never anything I couldn't ride on my superx with a 40 x 32 so I was glad I was able to put this dura ace 9000 53/39 crank to good use. With the 34 out back I basically have 1 easier gear, but damn do I like having the big ring now. I'd almost concider 2x for CX again but I'm prone to dropping chains.

I'm pretty happy with this bike. It's going to get gravel raced on Sunday.
