Thats the one cheers
So.... the Easton looks amazing on the list, and maintains that lovely 46/30, at around 0.6 lbs saving / 282 grams :
Easton EC90 SL 588g
RX810 1×11: 655g
RX600 1×11: 753g
RX810 2×11: 722g
RX600 2×11: 816g
RX600 2×10: 819g
FSA Omega Mega Exo - weight 871 g (50/34)
Easton EC90 SL ist no. 1 on my list as well...if I see a deal one day...cheapest I saw is 399 EUR + about 150 EUR for the 46/30 ring) without BB)
if not, I will buy
-Easton EA90 (716g) (no price yet, not yet released, should be about 270$ total crank + rings without BB, https://theradavist.com/2019/04/finally ... an-taylor/)
or
-FSA SL-K Modular (640g, 299 EUR for crank and 46/30, good deal!)
My main reason isn't less weight but stiffness. The current FSA Omega with its small diameter axle is just too soft for my weight...if I pedal hard (full weight on pedals) the chain touches the FD...(not so while normal pedalling)
if not, I will buy

I also miss my 175mm crank length, just dont seem to be able to put max power down somehow on these 172.5mm, unless they are flexing like you say!tomh79 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 12:14 pmEaston EC90 SL ist no. 1 on my list as well...if I see a deal one day...cheapest I saw is 399 EUR + about 150 EUR for the 46/30 ring) without BB)

Check eBay, several vendors sell the EC90 SL at $339 US, and I have seen the 46/30 rings at $127. (I purchased both and am awaiting the frame on which they will be installed.)frogtape777 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2019 7:04 amI also miss my 175mm crank length, just dont seem to be able to put max power down somehow on these 172.5mm, unless they are flexing like you say!tomh79 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 12:14 pmEaston EC90 SL ist no. 1 on my list as well...if I see a deal one day...cheapest I saw is 399 EUR + about 150 EUR for the 46/30 ring) without BB)

Total weight = 527 g, lower than advertised
Cannondale Supersixevo 4 (7.05 kg)
Retired: Chapter2, Tarmac SWorks SL6, Orbea, Dogma F8\F10, LOW, Wilier, Ridley Noah, Cervelo R3\R5\S2\Aspero, Time Fluidity, Lapierre Pulsium, Cyfac, Felt, Klein, Cannondale pre-CAAD aluminum

Thanks! That would result in total 470$ + shipping and taxes. In the end, let's say roughly 450 EUR. Still thinking about FSA SL-K modular (I could get it for 250 EUR - crank plus 46/30 incl. shipping and tax). Hmm 200 EUR difference is quite a bit for a crank. Do you think it's worth it?

Whats the weight fifference for 200 EUR extra?tomh79 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2019 8:43 amThanks! That would result in total 470$ + shipping and taxes. In the end, let's say roughly 450 EUR. I hear you, I owned an FSA crank once and disliked the looks.
Another alternative is the Praxis Carbon Zayante, about $325 rings included, and 620 or so grams at 48 / 32. High quality, I almost went with that.

In the end: looks is a factor
I don't dislike the FSA. The Easton just looks much nicer. And is lighter. I would go for the Zayante as well..but need 46/30! Asked Praxis if there are plans to offer a 46/30 solution. Answer (I don't agree
):
No plan. Not with all the deep road cassettes as regular spec now. Not needed. Normal cassettes like 11-30, 11-32 and 11-34 basically negate the need for a crank with 46/30. Especially when that would require a custom spider

Hi all - another Topstone rider here (V-105)!
I’m looking at some lightweight upgrades inc Hunt Wheelset but would be grateful if anyone has any recommendations for carbon gravel bars and also a carbon seat post? Not too pricy tho as budget is always a concern.
Looking at saving weight but also removing some of the buzz when riding on rough and knarly terrain....
Thanks in advance!

I went for the C‘dale Save2 carbon seatpost. At 182g pretty light and it performs great.Thedude74 wrote:Hi all - another Topstone rider here (V-105)!

Also looked into some light bars but stuck with the original ones in the end. There are of course lighter options available, but the pricepoint kept me from going that way...

Not particularly cheap but road buzz completely gone.
(from an earlier posting on here....................)
Number one favourite upgrade, at around £130 so not cheap, but incredible comfort vs stock seatpost and good weight saving too, is the CanyonS13 VCLS seatpost, comes top in most reviews, for lightweight, trail buzz damping, and comfort. Weighed in around 209 grams. Bumpy roads feel amazing, gravel isn't far off my full sus which is really saying something for comfort!
Very high deflection and vibration scores, without any moving levers to get full of grit https://www.bikeradar.com/features/five ... -the-road/
(I also tried a Cannondale Save post, but the narrow part of the post went below the collar for my saddle height so RMAd)

Anyone else experiencing rattle from the downtube when going over terrain? After inspecting from the hole where the downtube is welded to the bottom bracket, the rattle seems to come from the gear cable vibrating and touching the hydraulic brake hose for the rear brake. Any tips for a quick fix?
