Anyone got their Topstone sub 9 yet?

I stuck some Zondas on my Sora model, Ultegra disc rotors, fizik R3 saddle and some cheap but narrow PRO bars. Changed Chainset to 105 50/34.

Think it weighed around 10.5kg with the head unit and cages on.
Oooooh rotors! what did they save VS the stock? Do you have a link to the ones you used?

What 650b wheels + tires combo are you running? Looking to do the conversion myself but worried about tire clearance. Thanks.

Update:

Running now carbon wheels 650b w 48mm tires.
Plenty of space around them, minimum of 8mm all around front and back.
With that, the new WTB nobby road tires should be fine as well.

Ordered a set of HUNT gravel wheels for my Topstone on Monday. Reviews are awesome and $ 390,- for a 1600g wheelset seems unreal! Will report asap.

Wheels arrived today. Just three days to ship them in from the UK, not bad
Put them on the scale, wheighed in at 1645g including rim tape. If you assume about 2x20g of tape per set (which would already be LIGHT) the set is well under the weight claimed by Hunt themselves. Great.
Setting them up tubeless was pretty easy, used the 6 bolt adaptors that came with the wheelset. Have to get a thinner lock ring tomorrow though. The one included is rubbing against my front caliper mount
My Topstone is at 8.9kg now, YEAH BABY!
Will be test-riding the new set on Sat or Sun.

Are the Hunts 20mm internal width? Not too narrow for 40+ mm tires?

20 internal, yes. No problem with my 43mm Panaracers. In fact due to their webside you may mount rubbers up to 50mm.

Thanks. Those wheels look nice! Might order them as well-seem to be a very good deal!
Still on my list:
-DT Swiss ER 1600 23 (20mm internal, 1638g)
-DT Swiss CR 1600 25 (22mm int., 1682g)
-custom alloy build with DT Swiss Hub 350
-or wait for GRX Shimano wheelset...

Very nice hotpatch and valve alignment, plus additional points for taking the pic with valves at 12'o clock. Faultless. :beerchug:

How is that Novatec hub they use for the Hunt wheels?

Look awesome!

I've ordered road wheelset yesterday and the following... should knock nearly 3 lbs off the bike, with tyre+wheel saving.

Well, it‘s definitely not a Chris King...
I used to have a couple on some wheels a few years back. NEVER had any issues and - what I REALLY liked - maintenance is pretty easy... So, I wouldn‘t worry about the Novatecs.
