Largest tires on Trek Boone?

Especially for light weight issues concerning cyclocross / touring bikes & parts.

I searched and came up empty. What is the largest tire that can be fitted on a Trek Boone Disc (2016)? Tons of room in the front but the rear looks narrow at the chain stays. What have people managed on the rear? Was thinking of doing a little gravel riding.

You’ll want to find actual measured widths dependent on rim width of which they are mounted.

The max on that era of boone was a 38. I had 38s on mine when I owned it.

I bought my wife a Boone 7 (cantilever) and fit some 36c tires on there (Clement/Donnely MSO Tubeless). No issues with clearance. You can probably fit a 38c, but I wouldn't go beyond that.

Madone 4, Cobia. I own a lot of Treks.

I have 38mm Schwalbe G-One Allrounds on my 2016 Boone. They actually measure 40 mm and fit fine with ample clearance.

I had MSO 40s on them without issues.
