Starting to build up Focus Marex CX. Disc Brake Noob Help

very preliminary stages of the build, and i'm looking at the rear disc brake cable routing.
i've got the front and rear derailleur sleeves threaded thru the down-tube ports, and around the BB cable guide.
but i cant figure out how the rear brake cable housing passes thru the bottom bracket shell, and the bottom bracket spindle

obviously the housing gets routed inside the down tube, but does it go through the center of the bottom bracket shell, through the 2 ports in the following 2 pictures

or does it get routed through the same ports the the shifter cables go through (sorry, blurry picture)?

foam rubber running through BB shell, would go underneath bb spindle?

The pictures are not shwoing full spectrum, I don't see too much
at the risk of burying my own question inside my existing thread, instead of making a new thread about a related subject, i will tack on to an existing thread.
in my research into the world of disc brakes, i have come to the conclusion to go with CENTERLOCK hubs/rotors.
i have since discovered that there are two (2) different types of locking rings dependent on the type of axle, and frame clearance.
1. internally splined lock ring - which requires a cassette tool
2. externally splined lock ring - which requires a bottom bracket tool
for convenience- and bank account's sake i would like to be able to run the same type of lock ring on both FRONT and REAR hubs.
both run 12mm thru axle. which as far as i can tell, accommodate internally splined lock rings (cassette tool).
but i am unsure if the front hub, or the rotor itself will accommodate an internally splined lock ring.
from what i've read, the front hub requires the externally splined lock ring, and the rear hub, may or may not accommodate an externally splined lock ring, depending on frame clearance.
if what i have just written makes any sense at all, can YOU make it make sense to ME?

In my experience with 12mm thru-axle, you will need the external lockrings as nobody makes a tool capable of loosening an internally splined lock ring with a 12x142 or larger rear thru-axle centerlock hub.
