I'm not. To narrow setup it happneds on some frames( forks certainly) that pad holders won't go low enough. Then you go wide stance to place pads in right place. Common issue with ASU.

I know a former pro cx rider. He retired as a pro, but he still rides the biggest races in my country. He prefers cantis due to
1) weight,
2) easier to avoid blocking the wheels
3) better mud clearance between pads and rims/rotors and
4) better pad durability in muddy conditions.
This is what he told me. It's not my opinion.
But I'm pretty sure weight is of importance to Thibau Nys as well.
