Apparently, they are right on the same weight as the tubeless compatible Compass equivalent:

Now that i've been riding them some months, including a snowy winter i have some feedback:
I won't keep them on for winter next year as they are too slippery in snow. Duh! Right? But it was worse than i thought, since they were actually kind of grippy on some of the first snow of the season.
When mounted as tubeless I got punctures in the center of the tread from potholes, twice. The Stan's refused to seal them solid so I ended up running tubes. I've had two more pinch flats with tubes in, but those weren't surprising ones.
They're also not quite as supple or quick as I had hoped. They do absorb much from the ground, but I notice it a bit more when I compare it to one of my other bikes. I'm going to try something different once they've worn down.
Actually on that note, there's little to no apparent wear despite hard winter use, and some off roading.

it's actually possible to come to the conclusion even before realising it makes no sense at all

In case anybody had this thread pop up in their searches I thought I'd update it with what I've ridden since. I went through a pair of G-One Speed relatively quickly. More casing damage, and despite feeling more supple the ride was similar, and the winter grip was similar despite the knobs. Kind of a sideways step. Since then I've been riding Continental Terra Speed TR in 40. Ride is noticeably improved over both of the others and grip is up a bit. Not as WW as I had been hoping to find, but at 420-425g they are at least towards the lighter end. I am surprised at how fast they've worn for being a Black Chili compound tyre though. I have abandoned all hope of running tubeless in winter city conditions, turns out the Stans has eaten huge amounts of my rims.
Still thinking about running LoupLoups in extralight as a summer only tyre maybe. Any notes on the grip between the Panaracers between the compound in the Pacenti, Rene Herse, and Panaracer branded tyres? Do they just build all of them with the same compound anyway?

Also cosider the Grand Bois Écureil EL, for the front at least. These are very light and comfy, though the tread is said to be thinner than the RH LLP so presumably they'll wear faster. These are made by Panaracer too.
GB also has a couple of new Forestier tyres, with a casing like (or the same as) the RH Endurance casing, IIRC in 36 & 42mm nominal widths.
FWIW, I thought both the G-One Speed (50-584), and the Soma lightweight slicks (42-584) were pretty diabolical re grip on the road; the GB Hetres were way better than either of these for grip, and much more durable, puncture-resistant, and less pressure-sensitive than the Speeds.

All good suggestions @santanas
Just picked up a pair of Pacentis, they seem soooo much more supple than the Gravel Kings! And the nice siped tread across the centre, and the compound is definitely softer. I'll ride the Terra Speeds for the winter and i'll put these on for the spring. They seem promising, especially at the price they were being offered relative to the Compass/Herse at the same shop.
Incidentally they had the above mentioned Volummy in stock and they are the very spit of the Gravelking, to my eyes and fingers, so that was interesting.

The new Vittorias look really nice but they don't offer much in the way of 650b, nor does Challenge unfortunately. Seems they discontinued the Strada Bianca in 40c already.

Edit to add: the Pari Motos both came out slightly over spec at 317g and 324g on my kitchen scale. (We are in WW after all)
