I run eTap HRD 1x w/46 oval Absolute Black with xx1 10-42 with a WT roadlink. I did change the pulley wheels to larger ceramic 14T which helps take up some of the chain when in the 10T or 12T cogs. So far no chainslap or dropped chains.

is that with regular short cage or wifli?
